On my way back from Lonavala, I saw a large tribe of monkeys sitting on the edge of the highway. We stopped the car and got off to say hello. Due to a seemingly unfortunate event, we had to stick around that spot for forty five minutes. However, in that period of time, I watched several generations of individuals interacting, grooming one another, sipping water from a muddy patch of earth, chasing one another, dominating over the youngsters and stuffing their faces.
You know that feeling when something happens to makes your lungs content, that sends a smile to your lips from deep within your intestines? That's how I felt. Makes me understand how Leaky's Angels fell so deeply in love with their primates.
